Wu Xing or five elements, is a routine that focuses on the meridians, yin and yang

and the five elements theories to bring about equilibrium in the body.  With good energy flow comes good health.  The five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water combine with meridian theory to bring pairs of organs into balance with each other, using a “creation cycle” of energy production.  Each element creates energy for the next in the cycle, thereby also helping the element’s own energy balance.  Yin and Yang relate to optimising and equalising the flow of energy around the organs, which are also part of the five elements.  The interlinked theories seem initially superficial but upon closer inspection you’ll discover a complexity unlike anything else.
